BLACK HEAD RUM CAZANOVE
Circa 1925 estimated
Here is doubtless the most symbolic rum of the trader Cazanove in Bordeaux: The Black Head Rum, more known under the name of “Black Rum”.
This rum exists since more than a century, to continue even today in the form of a second-rate rum, a kind of ghost of supermarket, and unfortunately very far from its glory of former days.
This rum was created and distributed by Cazanove Company since 1878, first company in France to be interested by rums.
At the origin it is a blend of Jamaican and Caribbean rums.
